Synergy Tech, the official distributor of Unitree Robotics in Spain, took an active role in the 2nd National Congress on Artificial Intelligence in Nursing, held in Elche from April 3rd to 5th. Organized by the Nursing Council of the Valencian Community (CECOVA), the event gathered over 500 healthcare professionals, experts, and students to explore how AI and emerging technologies are transforming the present and future of healthcare.
Throughout the congress, Synergy Tech showcased state-of-the-art assistive robotic solutions, drawing significant attention from attendees. One of the Unitree Robotics assistive robots roamed the lounge area during the coffee break, impressing onlookers with its autonomy, interactivity, and potential in clinical and long-term care settings.
The congress emphasized the urgent need for technological training and modernization in the healthcare sector—an idea echoed by Dr. Mario Gil Conesa, better known as Marius Lekker, during his keynote address. Synergy Tech’s presence perfectly aligned with this theme: demonstrating how robotics can enhance efficiency, safety, and the overall quality of nursing care, especially in repetitive tasks, patient transfers, and monitoring.
A highlight of the afternoon was the panel on robotics applied to patient care, featuring speakers Manuel Pardo, Nieves Pavón, and Darío Samaniego, who discussed the current state and future potential of robotic integration in clinical practice.
